CSR and Diversity

Taking our responsibilities seriously

At Berwick Partners we take responsibility for the impact that our business makes on the environment, communities, clients, employees and candidates.

Corporate Social Responsibility

We recognise the duty of care that we have to those who work for us and with us. We are responsive to their emotional and physical needs.

We are respectful of work/life balance. We encourage and enable staff to be involved in charitable and pro bono work including trusteeships of charities, mentoring work with local schools and colleges, governorships with educational establishments and participation in sponsored events.

We constantly consider the impact our organisation has on the environment and strive to minimise our environmental footprint and adopt sustainable working practices.

Encouraging and supporting diversity

We understand the business, legal and moral case for excellence in diversity practice.

We believe that diversity is critical to the success of both our clients and ourselves. A breadth of talent, opinion, judgement and experience within any organisation enables it to challenge existing thinking and deliver creativity, innovation and competitive advantage.

Our commitment to diversity is at every level of our own organisation. We value diversity in ethnicity, gender, language, age, sexual orientation, religion, socio-economic status, political persuasion, experience and education. We aim to ensure that employees are treated fairly, evaluated objectively and enabled to succeed.
Our Diversity Working Group comprises of representatives from across the company at all levels. It works to drive forward our own diversity programme, to pursue leadership in the field and to exceed industry standards of best practice.

Our responsibility to our clients is to support them to make diversity a reality in their organisations. Our positive engagement with diversity is fundamental to our thinking, process and delivery.
